Here at Lily's Lathers, we have gone through some changes in the last few months! We have welcomed Rozan to our team of helpers! With her expertise, we are moving into the 21st century with our technology! We greatly appreciate her help and knowledge!

Some of the changes: Most exciting is our new website! Check it out! www.lilyslathers.com
We are now doing newsletters to inform our customers and interested individuals of upcoming events and updates on products. Information on studies and the effects of goat milk to our bodies will also be highlighted in our newsletters. On the website, there is a place to subscribe to the newsletter. We are working taking our business world wide! Exciting to think of!

We would love to hear your thoughts and ideas about the soap and lotion and what we can improve. If you would like to contact us, please go to our new website www.lilyslathers.com and send us an email! I love hearing success stories!

Where Did November Go?

Well, this last month has come and gone very quickly! We have made MANY batches of soap and lotion. We placed our products in 3 different stores; in Riverton, Clinton, and Ogden, UT. Several weekends were spent at Boutiques here in the Valley. We are looking forward to the next month filled with lots of creations and sales! Let me know if I can help you with your company/family Christmas gift-giving needs. I can make up gift bags and baskets for you!

It Works!!!

GREAT NEWS!!!
My Gardener's Companion soap works!! My wonderful husband got his hands all greasy yesterday just for me to test out the soap. He got grease and yuck stuff from the underside of the truck. He came in and washed his hands with my new formula and PRESTO the grease was gone!!! I am so excited about this success!! Now I am going to ask a friend who owns a garage to test it for me so I can have more than one success story to tell. The cornmeal and orange peel are abrasive, but that's what we want to help get the dirt and grease off of the hands. The Lemongrass adds the citrus needed to aid in this process. It is exciting to know that what I think the soap is good and and will do, that it actually does it! Now on to making more soap...

Saturday Boutique

Well, the last 2 two has seen me making more soap and having the children packaging it to get ready for the Boutique show I attended in Orem. At the show, I meet some wonderful people, got a hand, foot and shoulder massage, bought some cute outfits for my soon-to-be-born grandbabies, read my book and sold product! I was able to sell about the same amount of lotion as I did soap. I feel that it was a successful adventure. It was a long day, but felt good to get out in the open air.

Surgery and Delays

Well, our son was scheduled for knee surgery for 9:30 this morning. But it got delayed 'till this afternoon due to his forgetting that he couldn't eat anything. Therefore, the apple he inadvertantly ate caused him to have to wait much longer to eat or drink! So while we were waiting to leave, I had some extra time to make more soap! I made 2 batches of Lavender and a batch of our Tangy Whisper. I added orange peel to it to make it more of a scrub and to give it more of a citrus smell. I think I will like it better this way. I had wanted to make another batch, of which it would have been Cinnamon Oats-N-Honey, but ran out of time. So I will make it in the morning along with 3 other batches of whatever hits my fancy! Maybe I will continue to experiment... We shall see!

(By the way, the surgery went VERY well and our son is on the way to recovery!)
